Conducting More Inspections
than Anyone !
Radon is a gas that is released from the soil. It is literally
everywhere in such diluted form that is poses no health threat.
Where the problem comes in is when it is trapped inside of a
structure. Most homes and buildings have some Radon, however
this gas is lighter then air, and when it "sweeps" into a
structure (and it does through cracks, foundations and other
openings) it can build to levels
that can become quite harmful to health.
Home lenders do not require Radon tests. Home inspectors do not
do them, but home buyers SHOULD have their investment tested
before closing. Testing and Remediation is NOT expensive...
having Radon build-up undetected can cause.
We can provide a full analytical
service to determine the presence of radon gas. Recent findings
show that radon gas can pose serious health risks to occupants.
If radon is found to be above the action level, we will provide
long-term mitigation of this hazard.
